Also, in my 20's my British friends used to " oh, that's wicked " so for me, it's a positive image.

To me the word 'wicked' conjures up some 80's street slang; "yo that was well wicked!". That, or M-Beat's 1994 Jungle track 'Incredible'.

Interestingly it doesn't have any negative connotations, unlike the dictionary definition.
