Would you rather learn about analytics, how to create an ecommerce site, or AWS services?
Hello Indiehackers! I'm going to work on a new slew of lessons for my site smalltuts.com. I have several topics that I think I would be good at teaching at. Is there an interest in the community to learn about any of these topics?
- Analytics - I work at Segment.com so I know quite a lot about analytics now.
- Creating an ecom site (with or without shopify) - Back then I cofounded a fashion startup that was on national TV several times. A lot of learnings since then (especially building smalltuts), but building a new product from scratch would be fun!
- AWS services - I'm a devops wannabe. I have a high level understanding of AWS services and I think I can make some interesting small tutorials on some of the products.
I noticed that most of the AWS resources (tutorials, articles) are not going into the details. So if you are able to give ,for a particular AWS service, a really detailed view and some concrete use-cases, I would vote for AWS.
Analytics sounds cool too.
Nice. Segment is a great tool.
Honestly though, there is a HUGE gap with AWS resources and adequate learning material. Especially some of the newer stuff they've put out like Lex and Kendra.
I think most other engineers can relate that good documentation goes a long way, but high quality content that explains a service is even better.
My vote is for AWS.
