Like imgur but for pdfs, json, txt, csv, (and images ofc) etc.?
If you could host pdfs, json/csv/txt files, or images on a static content hosting service available at a (hard to guess) public URL, would you?
Use cases for such a service:
- Easily share your resume (pdf/doc) with recruiters. Just send them the link!
- Read config files (json) for IoT projects
- Read config data (json/csv/txt) for SPAs or web apps
- Sell downloadable digital content (images/video/audio/textual stories) to patrons
People already do through Dropbox and other services. So: yes :)
I believe Dropbox, Drive etc are either rate limited or not exactly built for web/app development. Don't quote me on it though.
