Hey IH!
I'm about to launch this product on PH as a little side project.
Because it's a side project, I don't want to put much effort directly into its growth. I'm trying instead to design a product-led growth system... which I need a bit of help with.
First, my assumption is that I need to incentivize users to contribute Suggestions to the platform. This drives everything downstream.
Right now, I don't have the cash to put behind it, so I can't reward users in a monetary way immediately.
My idea is that once the product is generating revenue, contributors will earn proportional revenue for the amount of value a suggestion generates through the app, or the amount of "karma" that they have built on the platform.
Here's what I'm thinking:
Very web3-y shared-value economics, but without the complicated Crypto stuff.
Any feedback on how I can do this better? I'm looking particularly to try and solve the initial "bump" that's required to get enough tips onto the platform.
Maybe exposure to a social account?
The overall question is really...
I’d say a combination of option a and b.
But my typical advice to ideas like this is to have a prototype.
If you have this, then you might want to go ahead to validate the idea through surveys.
Try using type forms, tally or crowdapp.io for surveys. crowdapp.io works best for me though
