Writing 1000 Blog Posts

I founded 3 micro SaaS, one of them made more than 1000$ MRR. And I constantly come up with new SaaS ideas. I want to do them all, but I have neither the energy nor the budget.

So I decided to channel this desire better. I have been shooting and publishing training videos on YouTube since 2015. (Turkish) I have a desire to give training. I also have 10 thousand students on Udemy.

I also wrote Micro SaaS articles on my own blog, and I enjoyed sharing my knowledge there.

I decided to write 1000 blogs by blending my appetite for product production with education. This will be a very challenging process. And it's crazy. That's why I can never leave it to chance.

I started to share the whole process on Twitter with #buildinpublic. I also shared the form on https://microsaas.art. When I start writing, I will try to share it with you every week as an e-newsletter.

You can follow me on Twitter to be a partner in the process:

Excellent initiative. Appreciate SaaS founders who decide to take it slow, and build up a funnel instead of pay-per-view PPC or media buying.

About 1000 blogposts, as a SEO professional, i'd advice them to split the resource to write blogs into categories. Like-

    Top of the funnel:

    • Blogposts
    • Comprehensive Guides
    • etc

    Middle of the funnel:

    • Competitor vs Your product
    • Competitor alternatives
    • Checklists
    • etc

    Bottom of the funnel:

    • Case studies
    • Use cases
    • White papers
    • etc

This is just an example of building a total cold reader-to-paying customer funnel through SEO-based content marketing.

    Great, just followed on twitter.
Excited to learn more from you, especially the part how you can constantly come up with new SaaS ideas.

I myself have been working for a B2B SaaS company in China for several years, actually our ideas or features requests mostly come from our customers. So when it comes to becoming an Indie Hacker myself, I found it quite difficult to truely discover valuble pain points to start a Micro SaaS. Usually there are already a bunch of product that have done a great job on it, which can be really frustrating.

Then after a few days' exploring, I decided to start small, which is to read posts on IH and learn from everybody, and I'm happy to make friends with each other. here is my twitter account: #swarmbenben (since I'm still a newbie here so links are not allowed yet)

I hope those 1000 blog posts will be authentic and not generated by ChatGPT :)

I'll write it all with my own hand. :)

Wow, I wrote 4 in last 2 months and I was proud of myself 😅
Do you plan to use Chat GPT a lot?
I'll be watching the process on twitter. Good luck! 💪

No, I won't use ChatGPT. I'll write it all myself. :) It will be a big challenge for me. If I do it with ChatGPT, there is no challenge. :) I won't use ChatGPT.

You have multiple SaaS ideas/projects in your mind right ? So why don't you pick one and concentrate on it ?

I'm focusing on one, but I'm not satisfied with the income. There's more than one reason. Payment is one of them. Another is that I read and learn. I research. I take notes. I can get an audience for my extra micro SaaS product by sharing them. I also want to create an audience for the SaaSes I want to do in the future. So there is more than one reason. It is not only limited to these.
