You have 48 hours to make money on the internet. How do you do it? 🤑

Curious to see what indie hackers would do $$$$ ....
With only 48 hours I’d probably throw up a landing page for an ebook on something I know well (like building products as a solo-founder) and start taking pre-orders. I don’t particularly want to write an ebook.. but that would probably be the safest bet.
Without pre-existing audience, I'm not sure you'll get any sale. Worth the try though, maybe targeting communities like subreddits, etc.
I chose this idea because I think I have enough of an audience (3k Twitter, 5k mailing list) to drive some preorders. Not sure it would be enough to make it worth doing, but I’d make some money.
Yes, 3k Twitter and 5k mailing-list seem quite a good start to reach and grow and audience to me.
I agree with @chaica that, without an existing audience, or a sense of authority among them, making sales would be quite difficult.
When purchasing e-books I either go by user reviews, social proof, or if I have followed/know the person writing it
I think the quickest and easiest way would be to sell some kind of service to someone in your close circle of people.
Whatever skill you have - designer, developer, cutting hair, or maybe you can edit videos, etc. - will work. I would call and message my friends, cousins and would try to offer them that, even if it's something small or not business-related (think outside the box).
For example, if you are into a design, you can offer to make a digital illustration of a person for like $20-$50 which they can upload as their profile picture on social media.
This is the quickest and easiest way to earn the first $$$.
Agreed, start by you own audience of if it fits your close relations, try them.

Or no paid ads for the hypothetical situation?
