The AARRR funnel is one of the most famous growth hacking systems. Normally, the funnel is a simple sales funnel. And most people start the funnel from top to bottom:
-Acquisition
-Activation
-Retention
-Referral
-Revenue
So, you start with getting more visitors, then activate them. Then, you try to sell. Then you try to keep the users (retention). If you are lucky enough; you get some referrals.
As you can see, when you use the top to bottom approach, you need traffic. This is the only way to acquire users. I wrote a lot about traffic and acquisition: you need money to buy the traffic or you need time to get organic results.
Most of you do not have money to buy the traffic and none of you have the patience to wait 6 months to get organic traffic. Simply you do not have enough resources to start from the top of the funnel!
So what is the solution?
The solution is using the famous AARRR tool in the right way: from BOTTOM to TOP!
You simply focus on the tiny things in your startup to generate 2-3% more revenue and profit. For each step from bottom to top, you use the right tactics to make an improvement.
You test a tactic weekly and check the results. You keep with the working tactics. In each step, you look for 3-5 tactics that bring 2-3% each.
So; 5 tactics for each step with a 3% improvement rate means more than 15% for each step. Not bad, right?
But do not forget that, we do not have just 1 step. We have 5 steps.
These 5 steps mean you can DOUBLE what you already have! Easy.
