Advanced Woo Labels
WordPress ( WooCommerce ) plugin to create product labels.
Itβs been a while since I posted revenue results for my @LabelsWoo WordPress plugin. The main reason? The numbers have been pretty consistent month to month. π
But November broke the pattern and set a new record as the best month yet!
π° $2250 revenue
πΈ $1610 MRR
π 19 new sales
π 1 refund
π 1153 unique website visits
Interestingly, there wasnβt a big sales peak on Black Friday this year. Instead, sales were steady and strong throughout the whole monthβa big difference from last year, where Friday had a clear spike compared to other days.
Time for February revenue report for @LabelsWoo plugin.
π° $1830 revenue
πΈ $1380 MRR
π17 new sales
π 2 refunds
π 970 unique website visitsπ
This month doesn't hit records, but it's very close to it. The bottom line is that there is a gradual increase, which is pleasing.

This is the best month so far in terms of sales.
π° $1960 revenue
πΈ $1280 MRR
π 21 new sales
π 2 refunds
π 1167 unique website visits
Everything is going well - sales are growing smoothly, there is a list of a few top priority features that need to be added.
Also I need to pay more attention to plugin site - need to put more effort into content creation - new blog posts, how-to articles. Website traffic from Google is resing, but I want to see more growth here.

For now it is a best month in case of sales.
π° $1520 revenue
πΈ $1200 MRR
π 20 new sales
π 0 refunds
π 825 unique website visits
MRR is much higher then in the previous month because FastSpring changed the algorithm for calculating it again.

New release and new great feature. Starting from version 1.75 when using Hooks option you can generate and display all currently active display hooks.
Just open the plugin settings page, scroll down into the Hooks section and click on Show current hooks button inside the table. After this you will see all hooks and plugins are currently using to display product labels.
This feature is very useful if you want to modify current hooks to customize labels position but you don't know exactly what kind of hooks the plugin uses.

Long time has passed since my latest revenue report for 'Advanced Woo Labels' #WordPress plugin. Here are the stats for July:
π° $1100 revenue
πΈ $985 MRR
π 0 refunds
π 797 unique website visits
From month to month the plugin shows smooth MRR and profit growth.
Of course, there's no explosive growth here. But for a product that does not buy any advertising and attracts new paid users only due to the free version on wp org repositories, the figures are still not bad. π

Compared with the previous month there are not much changes in the stats. MRR is steadily growing, revenue is almost on the same level.

Not a bad month at all.
π° $950 revenue
πΈ $860 MRR ( recalculated )
π 12 new sales
π 0 refunds
π 923 unique website visits
As you can mentioned MRR for this month is lower than it was previously. This is because FastSpring (the MoR I use for sales) has changed the way MRR is calculated. In fact, MRR is steadily growing from month to month.

Very good month. Not hit the records, but the dynamic is still very nice.
π° $1415 revenue
πΈ $942 MRR
π 15 new sales
π 1 refunds
π 699 unique website visits
Two updates were released this month. They include changes such as:
- Support for the MultiVendorX plugin
- Support for several new themes that used to have problems displaying labels
- Support for some Gutenberg WooCommerce blocks
Also a few new guide articles were released.
For some time now, I've been thinking about how to further expand my small business with WordPress plugins.
On my Twitter, I asked my followers, many of whom also have a similar business
At that time I saw two ways to develop:
-
Continue to develop plugin separately on its own domain and brand. Over time, increase the number of features available and the price.
-
Create a plugins store with a separate site and its own brand. Sell 'Advanced Woo Labels' plugin throw it and also create new nich plugins.
I received a lot of helpful feedback and advice. Thank you all for that!
In the end, I decided to follow option number 2 and start creating a new brand under which I will sell this plugin and also all the new plugins that will be released in the near future.
It's still just an idea and the work on the website and brand has not yet begun. But everything will change soon. Stay tuned for more updates π
