Global audio music platform , live radio, charts, & podcasts
Hey everyone,
I wanted to share the raw story behind my project, [ampgroove.com](https://ampgroove.com), an Android audio ecosystem built to solve a problem that has been annoying me for years: audio fragmentation.
Right now, the mobile audio experience is broken. We are constantly swapping between three or four bloated apps just to switch from a curated music playlist to live radio, and then to a podcast. It’s inefficient and ruins the flow.
I built ampgroove to merge music, live radio, and podcasts into a single, lightning-fast, and minimalist ecosystem.

🛑 The Biggest Friction Point: Data Lock-in
As an independent developer, the biggest hurdle isn't building the app—it's convincing users to leave corporate streaming giants. People hate the idea of losing years of curated music libraries. Rebuilding a 1,000-song playlist manually is a dealbreaker.
To bypass this friction, I introduced a free concierge playlist migration service through [support.ampgroove.com](https://support.ampgroove.com).
Users just drop their Spotify or Apple Music links, and we handle the backend migration for them entirely for free. By removing the switching cost, we give them a frictionless entry into our unified ecosystem.
📉 The Journey & The Algorithm Slump
We are bootstrapping this with a strict $0 budget, running highly optimized environments on an AApanel VPS setup to keep overhead incredibly low.
A few weeks ago, we saw a sudden, beautiful spike in organic traffic. But as any indie hacker knows, the Google algorithm fluctuates. We are currently navigating a traffic slump, which forced us to pivot away from passive SEO and dive deep into manual technical guerrilla marketing (Discord outreach, targeted scrapers, and high-frequency TikTok loops).

💬 My Questions for the Community:
1. Beating the Slump: For those who have launched niche platforms and faced sudden drops in Google organic reach, what was your playbook to stabilize traffic without burning money on paid ads?
2. Scaling the Concierge Model: Our playlist import tool is highly effective for retention but scaling it requires smart rate-limit management with third-party APIs. Have you automated a similar "white-glove" import service successfully?
I’d love to get your brutal feedback on the platform or the onboarding flow!
P.S. We are also officially launching a major version update on Product Hunt tomorrow! If you want to check out our launch dashboard, come say hi.
