    Hi Michael,

I don’t want to sound harsh, but what’s the real point of AskLoop? What’s its core value? In other words, why would someone pay for something they already have for free and that does the same job?

Every business already has communication channels, ie: email (info@companyname.com), phone, and social media (DMs and mentions). These channels already handle problem solving for clients or potential clients. Most websites also include a customer support chat and an FAQ section, which can be quickly updated when recurring questions appear.

So, what exactly is your offer? Because your eight bullet points explaining why people use AskLoop don’t seem convincing from my perspective.

For example, a heatmap for a Q&A doesn’t make much sense... What’s the actual value of that feature that justifies $150 a year?

I’m saying all this constructively because I don’t yet understand why someone would pay to embed your Q&A instead of using their own FAQ module that already fits perfectly. Why would users use this communication channel instead of traditional ones(email, phone,Social Media)?

Also, the “share” feature isn’t unique... People can already share questions they receive by email or DM for free if they want to. It's as simple as an screenshot.

Help me better understand your value proposition. I assume you built this tool based on a real problem or market gap that users are asking to be solved, but I’m not seeing it clearly yet.

      Hey,

Firstly really appreciate the detailed feedback as you are asking exactly the kind of questions I want people to ask because they help me explain the why behind AskLoop more clearly and also build my skills.

You’re right and I totally agree that most businesses and creators already have plenty of ways to receive questions: email, DMs, contact forms, comments, support chats, etc and that is the problem, all of those are fragmented, private, and repetitive. You end up answering the same questions in five different places, and the answers disappear into inboxes.

AskLoop is my attempt to fix that. It gives you a single, lightweight place where questions can come in (even anonymously), and where your answers can be published publicly, turning those answers into reusable content.

So instead of replying to ten people privately, you answer once, publish it, and anyone who visits your public Q&A page or your embedded widget can see it. Over time, that becomes an evergreen knowledge base that grows with your audience and improves SEO naturally.

With the “share” feature, true, people can share screenshots or DMs, but AskLoop makes it frictionless: every answer has a shareable link, so you can easily post Q&As to your socials, newsletters, or websites without manually formatting or screenshotting.

The heatmap and analytics aren’t there just for show either, they tell you which answers get the most engagement, so you can see what your audience actually cares about. That’s hopefully gold for creators and teams who want to plan future content or spot trending topics.

As for “why pay for it” — it’s really about saving time and reducing noise. Instead of juggling messages across multiple platforms, AskLoop is meant to centralise everything into one calm space that’s easy to manage, even for non-technical users.

I have a roadmap in place (https://askloop.net/roadmap) that shows where it’s going next with integrations for Slack, Discord, WhatsApp, and WordPress, as well as bots, to pull in questions automatically, and then tools to auto-post your Q&As back out to social media. The idea is to make AskLoop the hub that connects all your Q&A activity, wherever it happens.

So it’s not trying to replace traditional channels, but rather complement them and simplify the process, turning your everyday audience questions into public, long-term value.

Once again thanks again for taking the time to write such a detailed comment, it’s super constructive and helps me sharpen how I communicate AskLoop’s purpose as this is my first foray into releasing my own projects.

If you have any extra advice or further comments please do reach out.

Now I understand you better. The SEO improvement is actually clever, and you forgot to mention it on your page!

As for saving time and reducing noise across platforms, many businesses today already have that part automated with AI to handle responses. however, even when you answer questions publicly, you would be surprised how often people still ask the most obvious things.

For example, let’s say an event is today, Tuesday, October 7, 2025, at 3 p.m, and it’s clearly published. You will still get messages asking what time the event is or if it’s happening today.

Anyway, I wish you the best with this project and hope people find it useful.

Thank you and yet another really valid point and I will edit the description
