Avasa

The Modern Operating System for Residential Communities

August 25, 2026 Why are we building Avasa?

Because we experienced the problem ourselves.

When we became part of the management committee of our residential association, we quickly discovered something surprising: running a community of hundreds of families is a lot like running a small company—but with far fewer tools.

Maintenance collections, expenses, complaints, vendors, notices, documents, meetings, approvals and resident communication were spread across WhatsApp groups, spreadsheets, emails and multiple disconnected systems.

And every committee member was doing this voluntarily, alongside their regular work.

What struck us most was that the technology wasn't really designed around how residential communities actually operate. Most solutions focus on a few individual functions, while the real problem is the complexity of running the community as a whole.

That's why we're building Avasa.

Our ambition is to create a simple, modern operating platform for residential communities—one that helps committees spend less time chasing spreadsheets and messages, and more time actually improving the community.

We know this problem because we've lived it.

And we believe managing where you live shouldn't be this complicated.

The strongest part is that the product comes from a problem you actually experienced as committee members. The opportunity seems to be less about replacing individual tools and more about giving committees one place to manage the whole community workflow.

About

Avasa exists because we experienced the problem first-hand. Being part of a residential association committee showed us how surprisingly difficult it is to run a modern apartment community.
