Just launched AI lead scoring on BuildForm AI? Straight-up wizardry—auto-scoring leads to ditch the duds and funnel the winners without lifting a finger. Indie sales grinders, this could be your secret weapon against burnout. Snagged the waitlist; what's your worst lead horror story?

March 17, 2025 DeepResearch but for Forms - We're building DeepOptimize for Buildform

Buildform is a conversational forms app. We recently launched the AI form builder, and it’s crazy! You can type, “I want to create a daily affirmation form to fill in daily and analyze how I feel”—and it does it for you.

Now, we’re creating DeepOptimize, which provides form improvement suggestions, similar to how Google Ads or Metana Ads offer recommendations, with a one-click update option. But that’s not all—your forms are benchmarked against thousands of others and automatically optimized for better conversion rates and in-form lead nurturing.

Sign up now! We’re launching this feature in batches, and early sign-ups will get access first.

December 14, 2024 🚀 Progress Update: Front-End Integration + Submissions Page 70% Complete!

Here’s what we knocked out yesterday:

✅ Fixed the issues and successfully integrated the front end with the new back-end endpoints. Testing is underway today, and we’ll push to Dev soon—stay tuned!

✅ The submissions page is 70% complete. Waiting for @Tharinda to come online (it's a Sat morning and the entire team is working - we worked pretty late last night too) so we can wrap it up and finalize the details.

Steady progress all around—one step closer to delivering something awesome! 🔥

Love the homepage tag "Home page is under construction - but the app works." -- Very much the Indie Hacker way :)

December 13, 2024 We’re just days away from V2 of Buildform, and I’m freaking pumped!

After shipping the V1 MVP, we got a ton of feedback. As a perfectionist founder, it was painful to live with something that wasn’t exactly how I imagined it. But instead of just tweaking things, the team went all in—we scrapped the old UI and rebuilt it from the ground up. Now it’s super clean, intuitive, and just works—feels like using an Apple product.

Shoutout to @Ronath for leading the charge on this. Couldn’t ask for a better teammate to bring this vision to life!

V2 is gonna be 🔥. Let’s go!

October 10, 2024 Buildform Video Demo

Here’s a demo walkthrough of the app. Although we’ve made a lot of progress in the week and a half since posting this video, it should still give you a good overview of how the app works. - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qdfPcc2-sTY #Buildform #FormsMadeSmart

October 10, 2024 We hired a new frontend Developer and also our MVP is user-ready!

So this week, after countless tweaks, we're finally satisfied with the quality of our MVP. We focused primarily on the form-filling user experience because we believe that's the most important aspect. That doesn’t mean we neglected the admin side of things—we made it nice and tidy—but there’s still room for improvement if we dig deeper. Anyway, we hired an excellent front-end developer this week and are also looking for a UI designer. I’m really happy with how the app is coming together.

Cool project guys! I watched the video but didn't quite see - where is the AI integration happening?

About

We hacked Buildform's concept by hacking a few products in the market together and saw $30,000 in additional revenue for our business. Then, we started building this as a standalone product.
