    The features here, feedback, testing groups, waitlists, founder connections, all exist somewhere already. The one thing you are actually selling is the other founders in the room, and on day one there are none. That is the whole game, and it is brutal: a social network with nobody in it is worth zero, no matter how good the product is. So the enemy is not X or Indie Hackers. It is the empty room, and you cannot beat it with more features, only with density. Do not launch a network for all founders. Seed a scene: pick one narrow niche, say technical solo founders shipping AI tools, and personally get fifty of them posting every day. Fifty active people in one niche feels alive. Ten thousand signups spread across everything is a ghost town that new visitors bounce from in ten seconds. One question to answer before you scale: what is the smallest group of founders who would feel this place is dead if they left? Build for exactly them first, and let everyone else discover a room that is already warm.

    The interesting test is whether the habit survives the incentive. Do you expect people to keep posting once the $10 cost is no longer hanging over them?

        That makes sense — so the real test is whether the subscription creates a durable build-in-public habit rather than just subsidizing activity. What would you look for to know people keep posting because the habit stuck, not because the $10 incentive is still there?
