Hey IH! Just launched Calcula.live — a free multi-language calculator platform targeting the UK, Romania and Turkey. Zero paid marketing, 5 days in.
The problem I was solving:
Most calculator sites use the same template across every page — generic title, generic description, same layout. Google sees through this fast. I wanted every single page to have unique, meaningful content: page-specific formulas, country-specific tax rates, real worked examples, FAQ schema, and metadata written for that exact calculation — not copy-pasted boilerplate.
What I built:
209+ calculators across 14 categories
Every page has unique content — no templates, no thin copy
Country-specific salary, tax & VAT calculators (Romanian ANAF, Turkish GİB, UK HMRC)
AdSense & AdMob revenue estimators (for fellow indie devs!)
Embeddable widget — any calculator can be added to your own site for free
3 languages: English, Romanian, Turkish — more countries coming
No sign-up, instant results
How I built it:
Astro + Cloudflare. Static HTML — fast by default, great for SEO. Full SEO setup from day one: structured data, GEO tags for AI search engines, AEO for featured snippets and voice search, proper hreflang across all 3 languages. SEO audit tools are already returning strong scores. Used Claude Code extensively — probably 80% AI-assisted. Went from idea to launch in a few days.
Early results (5 days in):
3,760 Google Search impressions
avg position 38 — climbing
Top queries: age calculations, distance between cities, Turkish sunrise times
Zero paid marketing
Monetization plan:
Not running ads yet — too early, want to grow traffic first. Plan is AdSense once traffic justifies it. Long term: premium embeddable widgets for businesses.
Roadmap:
Expanding to more countries (Germany, France, Spain and more). Each country gets its own language and local tax/salary rules.

I like that you're treating the surrounding content as part of the product instead of assuming people only care about getting a number.
I'll be interested to see which calculator categories consistently earn repeat visits over time. Those patterns often reveal where users are really looking for confidence and guidance rather than just a calculation.
Thanks! That's exactly the thinking, the calculation is a commodity, the context around it is the product.
Your repeat visits point is something I'm watching closely. My bet is salary/tax and credit calculators will be stickiest,people come back every time rates change or they're weighing a real decision. Same with the AdSense/AdMob estimators; publishers revisit those every time they're projecting income for a new traffic milestone.
Would love to hear which categories you'd expect to drive that "confidence-seeking" behavior most.
