The interesting part is the shift from a consumer social app to something bar owners can actually use operationally. I’d be curious what specific workflow becomes the main reason a bar owner keeps Chainlink in their day-to-day operations.
The bar owner facing web app is specifically designed to 1. Keep events and deals in front of their existing customers to convert them to regulars 2. Analyze which event/deal combos work the best together and at what days/times to maximize revenue. 3. Learn your typical customer profile to adapt your bar to their wants (or to change it to what you want it to be) 4. Encourage repeat purchases (via square POS integration by having a drink leaderboard. So for the users they are just competing with friends. But for the bar owners it's encouraging larger tabs and gathering more analytics
Alot of potential directions that this valuable data can be used for.
This app is not a POS system, it's a tool designed to grow or maintain your customer base. Feel free to follow our app page (work in progress)
That’s a much clearer picture of the operational side. I’d be interested in continuing the conversation beyond the thread — would you be open to sharing the best email to reach you on?
About
Originally started to answer the question "Are any of my friends going out tonight" and to compete with apps such as Beer Buddy and Timeleft. The app started as a bar visitor focused app but shifted to a B2B approach
