Last year, I built ada.im, an AI data analysis tool that unexpectedly reached #1 Product of the Week on Product Hunt. Through that journey, one pattern kept showing up: people didn’t just struggle with analysis — they struggled with turning results into clear, shareable visuals.
That led me to my next challenge: AI-powered data visualization.

I used to dread "ad-hoc" reporting requests. Now? I actually enjoy them.
Here is how I built the dashboard in this video using ChartGen.ai
1️⃣ Natural Language Input: I literally just described what I wanted ("Show me sales by category and revenue trends for 2025...").
2️⃣ Instant Visualization: The AI generated the layout, the bar charts, line graphs, and distribution pies automatically.
3️⃣ The "Killer" Feature: It’s not a static image. I can continue to ask questions like "What are the key drivers for Q3 growth?" and it adds textual insights directly to the dashboard.
It's flexible, interactive, and ridiculously fast.
This is what the future of work looks like. Less dragging-and-dropping, more analyzing.

This hits home. Ad-hoc reporting is the worst part of analytics work. Being able to just ask follow-up questions and have the dashboard update with insights is a big deal. This feels way more natural than traditional BI tools.
