I’m building ColorByte AI — an AI tool that creates printable coloring pages and coloring books from simple ideas.
I started working on this because creating custom coloring materials is surprisingly time-consuming. Parents, teachers, and creators often need unique coloring pages, but making them manually requires design skills and hours of work.
With AI image generation, I saw an opportunity to make this process much simpler: describe an idea, generate a coloring page, and turn it into a printable activity.
Right now, I’m focused on improving the quality of generated line art, making the workflow easier, and understanding what types of coloring content people actually want.

The part about focusing on better line art caught my eye. Parents might forgive a lot but kids notice pretty quickly when a coloring page feels awkward to color.
