Content Allies
Turning consultants into influencers via content marketing
After flying under the radar for over half a year, Content Allies has grown to $24k in MRR. Our goal has not been massive adoption, but instead to build a rock-solid set of products by working closely with a small number of customers who match our ideal persona.

To diversify from just offering Linkedin Content, we added in Article Writing, Podcasting, and Email Newsletters as new product lines. This lead to significantly lower churn rates and helped us expand clients from spending a few hundred per month to a few thousand per month.

In January of 2019, Content Allies signed our very first customer. At the time our offer was focused only on Linkedin Content. We signed roughly 23 customers in January with this offer but eventually, we would evolve to offer additional product lines to keep us diverse.

Thanks. We currently have 27 customers signed on. Our ideal customer is a highly paid consultant who is an expert in their field, but never has time to turn their ideas into marketing content.
Really cool!
How do you acquire customers? Consultants are usually hard to pin down. LinkedIn? Ads on job sites? Podcast advertising? Or do you have a referral system in place?
I was a consultant for a number of years, and I recall almost all my tools and services to come recommended through other consultants.
A lot of leads come from my existing audience and network through https://Jake-Jorgovan.com
Also, I published a book called the Consultants Path to Thought Leadership which has lead to some great Google search leads. https://contentallies.com/learn/the-consultants-path-to-thought-leadership
And we have Linkedin outreach going which is closing some opportunities as well.
I have a few referral partners lined up as well.
Pushing on a lot of marketing channels right now and really just starting to get momentum.
Thanks for the insight! Love the breadth of lead generation strategies. Wide net, but thrown into the right spots. Very cool.
Nice, who is your typical customer? And how many customers is 24k?
Such a cool concept! Congrats.
