Bhopal, India – To address the critical global shortfall of over 4 million cybersecurity professionals, VIT Bhopal University has announced admissions for its newly launched International Master in Cybersecurity Management program, a 12-month India-Italy postgraduate programme developed in collaboration with POLIMI Graduate School of Management, Milan. The programme offers students an international learning experience through a unique 6+6 model, combining technical expertise with management education in one of the world's fastest-growing career domains.
The 12-month, full-time program features a 6+6 month global learning model. Students spend their first six months at the cutting-edge VIT Bhopal campus in India building a robust technical foundation, followed by six months at the prestigious POLIMI Graduate School of Management (GSoM) in Milan, Italy, to connect technology with strategic business insights. The programme combines academic excellence, cross-cultural exposure, and industry-oriented learning to prepare graduates for careers in the rapidly evolving cybersecurity landscape.
Upon successful completion, graduates will receive a Master’s Diploma from POLIMI GSoM and VIT Bhopal, alongside a 1st Level University Specialising Master’s Degree from Politecnico di Milano.
The curriculum integrates technical expertise with business and management education. Students gain knowledge in areas including cybersecurity, cyber risk management, governance and compliance, digital innovation, cyber threat analysis, digital forensics, penetration testing, software vulnerability testing, business continuity, and strategic decision-making. The programme also includes a final internship or company project, enabling students to work on real-world business challenges and develop practical industry experience.

By combining technical knowledge with business management, we are preparing graduates to lead in today’s complex digital landscape.”
Accelerated Global Careers With Politecnico di Milano ranked 18th globally and holding the elite "Triple Crown" accreditation, alongside VIT’s recognized legacy of exceptional IT sector placements, graduates will be uniquely positioned for premium tech-management roles. The program prepares students to become Security Operations Centre Managers, Security Architects, ICT Security Specialists, and Cybersecurity Managers.
Admissions are now open for the September 2026 intake. Applicants from Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, BCA, B.Sc. Computer Science/IT, and other related disciplines are eligible to apply. Final-year students completing their studies are also fully eligible to apply. The medium of instruction is English.
The admission process includes an online application, document verification, and academic evaluation for candidates.
