Respect for shipping this. The honest hard part of a dev forum is not the software, it is the cold start: a forum with nobody in it has zero value, and developers already live in Discord, Reddit, and Stack Overflow. So the real question is what makes someone leave a community they already post in to post here instead. A general dev forum rarely answers that. What tends to work is going narrow and seeding it yourself: pick one specific thing people argue about or need help with, start the first 20 threads with real substance so it never looks empty, and give people a reason to come back on a schedule. Communities are not launched, they are hosted. You have to be the host who keeps the lights on for months before it runs on its own. Pick the one type of developer you most want in the room and build for them first.

Interesting idea — I like the focus on sharing real build stories instead of just marketing.

congrats! I think you want to share stories with Devs about what you are building and what you might need help with etc. so, it is really a ‘forum to share stories’ and not a “story telling forum”.

Storytelling means something specific in marketing so you want to make sure people don’t confuse your Dev focused forum for something else
