Doc Genie
Share notebooks from your Amazon Kindle Scribe
Hey Indie Hackers!
I'm excited to introduce Doc Genie, a tool I built to solve a real pain I faced as a Kindle Scribe user. If you love taking notes on your Kindle Scribe but have been frustrated by the lack of easy sharing options, Doc Genie is here to help!
The Problem:
The Kindle Scribe doesn’t natively support sharing notebooks directly to platforms like Google Drive, Dropbox, or OneDrive. Sharing involved emailing, downloading, and uploading files—especially frustrating when sharing notes frequently with teammates or organizing them in cloud storage.
The Solution:
With Doc Genie, you can sync notebooks to your chosen cloud storage (Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive) in just seconds. After a quick setup, simply use the Kindle's share feature to send your notes, and Doc Genie handles the rest. It’s free to use for basic access, with an affordable subscription option for unlimited sharing and extra features.
Key Features:
Simple sync with Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive (more options coming soon!)
Scheduled syncing from cloud storage to Kindle Scribe
Convert web pages to PDF and send directly to your Kindle Scribe with our Chrome extension
Secure sharing with configurable permissions
Doc Genie started as a tool for myself but grew into something I knew would help others. Check it out at docgenie.co.uk, and I’d love to hear any feedback, ideas, or questions you have. Looking forward to seeing how it works for you!
