I built EarningsPrism — a platform that monitors 11,000+ US stocks and 12 global markets, generates AI summaries of SEC 8-K filings (for US market) and other 11 countries local regulator's filings, within minutes of submission, and delivers them via RSS feed and JSON API. Live, growing, and open to media/API clients.

## The Problem I Was Solving

Every day, hundreds of companies file stock price sensitive updates with the SEC — earnings results, M&A deals, CEO resignations, debt offerings, clinical trial data, etc. These filings are publicly available but completely unreadable. A typical 8-K is 40+ pages of legal language.

Financial journalists, retail investors, and trading platforms all need to know what's in these filings — fast. Bloomberg charges $24,000/year per terminal. There was no affordable alternative that gave you:

- Real AI summaries (not templates)
- Coverage beyond just S&P 500
- Global markets alongside US
- A clean API for programmatic access

So I built one.

## The Stack

- Frontend: Cloudflare Pages (static HTML + vanilla JS — no framework)
- Backend: Cloudflare Workers (single [[path]].js file — yes, really)
- Cost: Near zero at current scale — Cloudflare free tier handles everything

The entire backend is one Workers file. D1 holds 17,000+ AI-summarised filings. The RSS feed refreshes every 15 minutes and is already indexed on Feedly and Inoreader.

## The Honest Part

The hardest thing wasn't the tech. It was realising that building is 10% of the work. The other 90% is distribution, SEO, Google News approval, RSS indexing, affiliate partnerships, and finding the first paying API client.

I'm at the stage where the product works and I need to find the people who need it. That's why I'm here.
