EternalQR
QR codes that never expire
The first working version of the EternalQR app is now live, and so far it's functioning as it should.
What is it?
A simple tool to create dynamic QR codes that never expire. Print a QR code once, update where it points anytime – no reprinting needed.
Why I built it:
A friend printed a QR code on a poster for his shop. One day it just stopped working – the service behind it had killed the link. The poster was useless. QR codes get printed on physical things. They should keep working.
What's working so far:
Create dynamic QR codes with custom short URLs
Update the destination anytime
Basic scan analytics (country, device, referrer)
Free tier available
What's next:
Gathering early feedback
Improving the dashboard
Growing organically
Would love any feedback. Check it out at eternalqr.app.

I ran into the same post-print fear on a QR project, one dead link ruins the whole flyer once its already in the wild. Free static codes or Bitly are fine until someone asks which poster actually pulled scans, I'm building ScanLoop around editable destinations plus placement history because thats the part that still feels broken for offline teams. I'd push that killed-link story harder on the page, idk thats the pain I remembered right away.
