Great build. Nailing summary depth is the real challenge. How do you evaluate whether the AI captures real insights vs generating plausible-sounding hallucinations?

Your idea addresses a real problem—information overload—and turning long-form video content into concise, readable insights can be genuinely valuable for people who want to learn faster. However, the bigger challenge for technical founders is usually distribution and audience building, because even great tools need consistent visibility and trust before users adopt them.

Information overload from YouTube is a real problem, and turning videos into quick editorial summaries is a strong angle. Watching a quick demo of a video being converted into a readable digest would probably make the benefit obvious in seconds. I work with founders on launch and demo videos for tools like this, so if you ever want to present Feedix that way I’d love to help.

This hits a real pain point that most people don't articulate but definitely feel. I subscribe to way too many dev/AI/product channels on YouTube, and the guilt of having 200+ unwatched videos in my Watch Later playlist is real.

I've built content repurposing tools before, and the thing that's hardest to get right is the summary depth trade-off. If you summarize too aggressively, you lose the 'aha' moments that made the video worth watching. If you're too comprehensive, the email becomes as long as just watching the 2x speed version.

How are you handling videos that are primarily visual or demo-heavy? For example, if someone posts a coding tutorial where they're live-building something, does Feedix extract the code snippets and key commands, or just describe what they did?

Also curious about your roadmap for selective attention. Some channels I follow post 5 videos a week, but only 1 is usually relevant to me.

From a fellow solo technical founder who struggles with marketing: congrats on #11 on PH. That's huge for a first launch.

About

I was drowning in YouTube subscriptions — 50+ channels, hours of content daily. I kept missing important videos or wasting time on clickbait. So I built Feedix: AI summarizes your YouTube feeds into digests to inbox
