FileCast

For a while, I wanted to build something people could actually use — not just another project that stays half-finished on my hard drive or lives only on GitHub.

I wanted it to be rooted in a problem I'd experienced myself. One of those everyday annoyances that should be simple, but rarely is: converting a file.

That idea became FileCast — a free, privacy-focused toolkit for converting, editing, compressing, and working with files. No sign-up, no conversion limits.

After countless nights and probably way too much coffee ☕, today — FileCast is LIVE. 🚀

FileCast currently has 99 tools across documents, PDFs, images, and developer tools. The majority of these tools process files directly in your browser, meaning your files never leave your device.

It’s far from perfect, and there's still a lot on my list to improve. But it's something I genuinely wanted to exist — and now it does.
