We updated the look of our website to allow users to signup easily, purchase subscriptions, etc.

The API was also updated to use newer open source tools and datasets are have become available over the years.

The API now supports forward gecoding, reverse geocoding, address parsing, earth sea elevation and base maps.

My partners and I have been playing around with data in the Open Maps data space for some time now and we identified a need for an easy to use API for geocoding, geoparsing, address parsing, elevation, and base maps hosting.

There is a lot of open data and tools out there, some are really good, others not that great. Building something useful out of this data is not very straight forward. It requires a lot of technical knowledge.

Geocodify makes it easy to use all this open data and tools in the wild and not worry about storing, maintaining, and processing terabytes of data.
