March 20, 2025 Had a great March Social Media Mastermind session

Went on for more than 2 hours, we discussed 4 platforms - X, LinkedIn, Reddit, IG.

Quick highlights:

• Platform specialization beats trying to be everywhere — Focus on mastering 1-2 platforms that align with your business model. Service businesses thrive on Twitter networking, while B2B SaaS converts better through LinkedIn's professional ecosystem.

• Twitter Communities & "building in public" driving real engagement — Sharing authentic journey updates in niche communities like "Build in Public" generates more views than regular posts. Big wins and "life-defining bets" create breakout moments, as members demonstrated with specific examples.

• LinkedIn's professional graph makes it ideal for B2B founders — Consistent posting (2-3x weekly) with visual content builds predictable audience growth. Mix technical content for practitioners with benefit-focused posts for decision-makers to expand your reach organically.

• Reddit offering the most honest feedback when done right — Post during high activity periods (150+ users online) and focus on storytelling rather than promotion. One member landed international clients by sharing compelling stories in targeted subreddits.

• Instagram/Meta ads with emotional hooks converting surprisingly well — Highly targeted ads (like focusing on expecting parents) with direct-to-WhatsApp conversion paths generating 3-4 daily leads for just ₹300/day. UGC-style content dramatically outperforming traditional promotional content.

The power of these mastermind sessions isn't just in tactics, but in seeing what's actually working for peers in similar stages.

Real examples from community members who are making sales and landing clients right now.

March 7, 2025 Hosted our Monthly Mastermind Call

Had an amazing February monthly mastermind call in our community last week.

We went over the 2-hour mark again (approaching 2.5 hours!), yet nobody wanted to leave 😅

Each member shared their journey, challenges, and wins - reflected on the month of February and set their intentions for March

What makes these calls so special? I've been thinking about this...

It's a great mix different types of entrepreneurial journeys coming together:

• We had someone who just achieved financial freedom 26 days ago and is building an AI tool for government job applications
• A member growing a micro SaaS that's gaining traction with a niche audience, recently applying to YC
• Someone building an "Apply For Me" service helping tech professionals land jobs, racing to launch before his baby arrives in April 😍
• A seasoned entrepreneur scaling his business through multiple channels, managing a 6-7 person team

The ages ranged from early-20s to late-40s.

Experience levels from complete beginners to seasoned operators.

Revenue from $0 to $150K+

In this diversity lies our strength.

Each person brings unique perspectives:

When one member mentioned competitors in his space, another reframed it as market validation.
When someone struggled with marketing, another shared specific tactics that worked for them.
When a member wondered about pricing, the group offered benchmarks from their own businesses.

I think what creates our special vibe is this: we're all on different paths, but heading in the same direction - toward independence, creativity, and building something meaningful.

And the journey feels less daunting when you have fellow travelers to share it with.

As Rabeet put it during the call: "I really love the community. It's been just the positivity of everyone and seeing everyone working on their own problems... extremely positive vibes."

That's what it's all about. ✨

January 30, 2025 Hosted our Monthly Mastermind Call

Such a cool vibe in our monthly mastermind call last night.. And founders from such diverse backgrounds

- People who are doing $0 to people who are doing $150K+

- Someone doing pure b2b enterprise SaaS, to someone doing an influencer business

- Someone who is a freelancer and never worked a job in his life, to someone building projects on the side, along with their 9-5

We had members who are 24 years old, and we had members who are 41 years old. All with a common desire to build an independent business on our own terms

AND.. do it with like minded friends around us.

LFG 🚀

September 20, 2022 Launching Again

Launching the Indie Masterminds program again for the 4th month in a row. When I started I wasn't sure if people will find value in it or not, or if I would be able to add value to them or not. But the feedback from all the customers has been amazing. So I'm repeating the program again in October. Let's see how this goes 🤞

June 2022 Crystallized the idea

I had been hearing about mastermind groups for a long time, but wasn't sure that Indie Hackers would need it. Also, would I be able to run them or not. But I didn't want to give up without even trying. So I made a quick landing page and launched the service on Twitter to see if people would be interested.
To my surprise I got great results and 12 people joined the program over the next 8 days.

About

I've been part of the indie hacker, solopreneur community for more than a year now. And the biggest problem I see all indie hackers face is that they don't get personalized feedback and advice on their work. Solving it.
