I’ve been thinking a lot about one problem students don’t talk about enough:

You sit down to study…
You don't know where to start studying or what to focus on to prepare for an exam, open your phone “for 5 minutes”…
and suddenly 3 hours are gone.

No progress. and that's it, 3 hours wasted

I’ve seen this happen over and over , especially with students preparing for important exams.

So I started building Instaknow - an AI-powered study companion focused on two things:

• Helping students actually stay focused

• Making it easier to understand and practice what they learn
  
  Right now, it’s still early, but here’s what it does:

  • AI teachers that explain topics and answer questions

  • Quizzes to test understanding

  • Study reminders to build consistency

  • Focus mode to block distractions while studying
    
    The goal isn’t to replace teachers — but to give students something that helps when they’re stuck or distracted.

    I’m especially building this with students in Africa in mind, where access to consistent learning support can be limited.
