Discount/Promo Codes Online Board
Every time I wanted to order from YesStyle, Stylevana or Olive Young k-beauty brands I'd end up scrolling through six month old posts trying to find a code that still worked. Half of them were expired, some looked flat out fake.
So I built KBeauty Codes. People post the codes they're actually using, other shoppers vote on whether they still work, and anything unverified gets checked before it goes live. No account needed to browse, no ads chasing you around the page.
It's a solo side project and, for now, it's staying free. Would love feedback from anyone who's dealt with the same annoyance shopping K-beauty sites, or just wants to poke around and tell me what's missing so I can help you in the best way possible.

The reason to build a dedicated board instead of leaning on other platforms is that the codes are scattered across a hundred threads and posts right now, most of them are dead, and on Reddit/Facebook/others you commonly get banned for posting them anyway. Long term that can extend to other brands too but, for now, I want this to become the default place to post for the three main k-beauty brands.
On validation, it is too early for a clean answer since the first live version only went out this week. The goal right now is traffic and insight, and only then I can really improve it and scale. The voting framework is the main reason a user should trust a code, and once one passes 10 downvotes it is marked dead in the database. A user can't vote twice, so one person can't brigade a code to death or fake confidence in a dead one. Automated pre-screening is up and is available for me while moderating, the system gives a score to the code based on several factors.
So, on your actual question, whether people come back because they trust it or use it as a fallback: I do not have enough repeat traffic yet to tell but I'm hoping this doesn't turn into a simple fallback. Hope to have clearer answers in a month or two.
