A simple, audio-powered vocabulary tool for language learner
While learning German, I kept running into the same problem over and over again: most vocabulary apps felt too complex, too rigid, or didn’t let me add my own content easily.
All I wanted was a simple tool where I could:
• add my own vocabulary quickly
• listen to natural pronunciation anywhere
• review without friction or overwhelm
After searching for something like this and not finding anything that truly fit my needs, I decided to build the solution myself.
That’s how Kiwi Notes started.
Kiwi Notes is a minimalist vocabulary tool designed for speed, clarity, and consistency. Instead of overwhelming features, it focuses on what actually helps learners:
• fast word input
• instant natural audio
• adaptive flashcards
• a clean, distraction-free interface
It’s still early, and I’m actively improving it.

Yes, spaced repetition is definitely something I’m exploring, but in a lighter, less rigid way than traditional Anki-style systems. My goal is to keep repetition helpful without adding mental overhead.
Personalization is also a big focus — especially letting learners fully control what they study and how often, without forcing predefined paths.
