How Do You Get Your First SaaS Users?

September 13, 2026 What’s the Biggest Challenge After Launching a SaaS or AI Product?

Building and launching a product is only the beginning.

For many indie founders, SaaS builders, AI creators, and developers, the harder part comes afterward:

How do you actually get the right people to discover your product?

A great product can easily get buried when you don’t already have a large audience, a big marketing budget, or an established brand.

I’ve been exploring different ways founders can improve product discovery, including founder communities, Reddit, X/Twitter, SEO, directories, direct outreach, and launch platforms.

I’m also building LaunchNest LN, a free product launch and discovery platform for SaaS, AI tools, developer tools, and indie products.

The idea is to give smaller and early-stage builders another place where they can:

• Launch their product for free

• Create a permanent product page

• Showcase what they’ve built

• Get discovered by people interested in new products

• Receive genuine community feedback and engagement

• Reach potential users without needing a huge existing audience

I’m still learning and improving the platform, so I’d genuinely love to hear from other founders.

What has actually worked for you when getting your first 10, 50, or 100 real users?

Was it Reddit, communities, SEO, content, direct outreach, Product Hunt, directories, social media, or something completely different?

Feel free to share your product and your experience below. I’d love to discover what everyone is building and learn from the community.
