October 29, 2025 From Lead-Hunting to Automated Outreach (Why Just Finding Users Isn’t Enough)

For months, LeadSynth AI has been solving the founder's most painful problem: finding high-intent leads by listening to real-time conversations on Reddit, X, and forums.

But finding the lead was only half the battle.

The New Pain Point We Solved

Founders told me:

"I found the perfect lead on Reddit, but now I have to stop what I'm doing, craft a thoughtful reply, and jump into a completely different platform. It takes too much time and kills my flow."

The reality is, manually engaging with every high-intent lead is slow, inconsistent, and often falls through the cracks especially for busy, solo founders. You needed to bridge the gap between Lead Found and Conversation Started.

🎉 Our Recent Win: The Outbound AI Agent

We just shipped a new feature that eliminates this friction: The Outbound AI Agent.

Now, when LeadSynth AI surfaces a live conversation where someone is describing the exact problem you solve, you don't have to stop and manually reply.

  1. LeadSynth finds intent (e.g., "Ugh, I wish I had a tool that could do X").

  2. Our Outbound AI Agent instantly drafts a contextually relevant, non-spammy outreach response.

  3. The agent automatically posts the comment/reply on your behalf (on platforms like Reddit), starting the conversation and inviting the person to check out your solution.

This isn't cold outreach; it's hyper-contextual, warm outreach at the exact moment of need.

The result? Founders can now turn high-intent lead signals into an active conversation stream on full autopilot. It turns "hours of manual hunting" into a single, seamless system.

Whats your plan look like price wise?

    1. 2

We offer a 2 day free trial, and we have a 9$/month starter plan and a 49$month growth plan and a custom plan for large enterprises.

      1. 2

        Interesting, will subscribe.

  2. 1

Nice concept. I’ve been tinkering with lightweight AI automations for outreach too — the tricky bit is keeping it human enough to feel real. Have you found any prompt styles that perform better for response rates?

  3. 1

    Wow, this is brilliant! 🔥
Seriously love what you’ve built here — solving the real founder struggle of stopping mid-task just to reply.
    That friction is so real.

LeadSynth nailed it with this Outbound AI Agent.
Finding intent and starting the right conversation? Game-changing. 👏

At LeadMetrics, we’ve been focused on the step right before that — bringing every lead, campaign, and insight together into one clean dashboard.
So when those high-intent leads show up, you already know where they belong and what to do next.

It’s amazing to see how we’re all pushing the same vision forward — smarter, simpler, and more human growth.
Huge props to the LeadSynth for this leap. 🚀

Thank you man and huge props to Leadmetrics as well Goodluck

    This is a game-changer, Abdelrahman 🔥
You nailed the biggest pain after lead discovery — context switching and manual follow-ups.
Turning “found leads” into live conversations automatically is the dream for solo founders. 👏

    1. 1

That’s what we’re hoping for making life easier for founders

  5. 1

This is a very interesting approach. I like the focus on B2B lead targeting with AI – it's a crowded space, but niching down is the only way to stand out.

A key challenge with a tool like this (as you've probably found) is user acquisition. You're building for founders and marketers, but they're inundated with similar tools.

A strategy that worked for me was combining a specialized tool with a scalable content engine. I use Beehiiv to run a niche newsletter that directly attracts my ideal customers. Its AI features (like Copilot) help speed up content creation, and the built-in growth tools (referral programs, etc.) turn readers into a qualified lead stream.

It could be a powerful channel for you too – not just for marketing, but also for keeping early users engaged with product updates and building a community around the problem you're solving.

If you're curious, you can check out their free plan here: https://www.beehiiv.com/?via=Freeplan

Congrats on the launch. Looking forward to seeing the traction.

    1. 1

Will defo check it out and thank you Goodluck with beehiiv as well

  6. 1

Great idea! I'm trying it out and if you are able to generate results id be a happy paying customer.

      1. 1

Yes but it didn't recommend the right threads for me. And I couldn't manually choose which threads to use.

        1. 1

You can edit your threads in the manage product section if you werent happy with the threads.

  7. 1

Wow, that truly is a game changer the hardest part of business can be made easy with this platform. Getting a subscription this week for sure.

    1. 2

Thank you, more than happy to help founders solve their problems and make operations easier, we all deserve the right to find customers easily.

October 7, 2025 How I’m tackling churn after our first 100 trial users

For months, my biggest struggle wasn’t getting users—it was keeping them.

LeadSynth AI was getting people excited enough to sign up, but post-trial, many just… disappeared.

I went back to the basics: why would someone pay after seeing the product for 7 days?

Here’s what I realized:

  1. Users loved the leads they got—but onboarding felt too manual.

  2. People didn’t fully understand how to turn those leads into conversations.

  3. They needed a clear path to see ROI within days, not weeks.

So I started testing small changes:

Guided onboarding: showing exactly how to find your first 10 warm leads.
AI conversation agents: letting the system start conversations automatically.
Contextual tips: in-app nudges on how to convert a lead into a paying customer.

Early results? Users who complete the new onboarding are 3x more likely to stick past the trial.

The goal now: make churn a thing of the past by turning trial users into active, paying users before they even have to think about it.

September 9, 2025 Building LeadSynth AI: From Crickets to Conversations

When I first started launching products, the pattern was always the same:
Build → Post → Wait → …crickets.

The hardest part wasn’t building. It was finding people who actually needed what I had built.

That’s why I started building LeadSynth AI. Instead of static databases or scraping cold emails, LeadSynth listens to the internet in real time: Reddit, X, forums and surfaces conversations where people are already describing the exact problems your product solves.

No guessing. No shouting into the void. Just showing up at the right time, in the right place.

Since launching, I’ve been amazed at how quickly founders jumped on this idea:
✅ 110+ founders signed up so far
✅ Thousands of conversations surfaced
✅ Feedback that it saves hours of hunting for leads

Right now, I’m doubling down on two things:

  • Onboarding & integrations (HubSpot, Pipedrive, etc.) to make it seamless

  • AI outbound agents that don’t just find leads but also start conversations for you

The goal? To make “finding your first 1000 users” less of a guessing game and more of a repeatable system.

It still feels early, but the momentum is real and I’d love to hear from other Indie
Hackers:
👉 What’s been your biggest pain point in finding customers?

Awesome, that's exactly what I need. I'm just starting to build a new SaaS and have just set up a waitlist and try to get traffic to it to validate the idea. So yeah, curious how effective it will be. The idea is great.

So during trial only reddit can be used? So for X I need to immediately upgrade, right? But if it's working the price is more than fair I guess.

    1. 1

Yeah exactly and even with the upgrade you can target way more communities on Reddit rather than just 5 with free mode.

  2. 1

If possible, I can try to become your product promotion manager in China. If you're interested, please email me at

This really resonates. When I was building ScrumBuddy, I hit the same wall. The building was the easy part, but getting in front of the right people at the right time felt like throwing code into the void. What finally worked was shifting from “more output” to “better orchestration,” making sure context and timing flowed cleanly from idea → backlog → UI → backend → PR.

LeadSynth feels like that same orchestration applied to growth. Instead of chasing cold lists, you’re wiring yourself directly into the live pulse of where problems are being voiced. That’s a much cleaner signal, and a far stronger place to start conversations.

With the AI outbound agents, how are you thinking about keeping that balance between automation and authenticity? In ScrumBuddy, I’ve found the human-in-the-loop moments are what keep trust intact, even when the heavy lifting is automated.

September 8, 2025 Building LeadSynth AI: Finding Leads in Real-Time Conversations

I’ve been building LeadSynth AI, a tool that finds real-time online conversations where people are already discussing the exact problems your product solves — so you don’t waste time chasing cold leads.

What it does:

  • Scans platforms like Reddit, X (Twitter), and Telegram for problem statements.

  • Alerts you instantly when a potential lead is active.

  • Integrates with CRMs like HubSpot & Pipedrive (coming soon).

Why I built it:
Traditional lead-gen tools give you lists of companies or emails. But the reality is, people buy when they have a problem — not when you email them blindly. LeadSynth AI goes straight to conversations that matter.

Traction so far:

  • 110 trial users

  • Feedback: people love how it saves hours of research.

  • Looking to improve integrations and onboarding for a smoother experience.

Next steps:

  • Build more automation & AI-powered prioritization.

  • Expand platform coverage.

  • Optimize subscription conversion (currently struggling post-trial).

Hey Abdelrahman, I’ve seen a few tools like Devi AI and Clay that do real-time lead detection. I’m curious—what makes LeadSynth AI different or unique compared to these existing solutions?

    1. 2

The key differences with LeadSynth AI are:

1️⃣ Real-time vs. static — many tools refresh databases or scrape profiles, but we surface live conversations happening now where people are literally describing their pain points.

2️⃣ Context-first approach — instead of handing you an email, we show you the full conversation so you can engage authentically, not cold pitch.

3️⃣ AI outbound agents — beyond detection, our roadmap includes AI agents that can draft replies, DMs, and even update your CRM (HubSpot/Pipedrive) instantly.

Most competitors optimize for contact quantity. We’re obsessed with conversion-ready context.

Still early days, but founders using LeadSynth are telling us it feels like “finally knowing where to show up, instead of guessing.”

      1. 1

That makes sense —....the context-first approach sounds way more natural than cold scraping......which platform is giving you the strongest signal so far — Reddit, X, or Telegram?

  2. 1

Really like what you’re building here. The shift from static lead lists to real-time context feels like the same evolution I saw when building ScrumBuddy. In my case, the pain point was orchestration. Founders and devs drowning in chaos from idea → backlog → UI → backend → GitHub PR. Once I realized the real bottleneck wasn’t knowledge but timing and context flow, everything clicked.

LeadSynth feels like that same insight applied to growth: it’s not about finding everyone, it’s about showing up at the exact moment when someone actually feels the problem you solve. That’s a far stronger starting point than another scraped email list.

Have you experimented yet with layering prioritization on top of the alerts? In ScrumBuddy I found that sequencing mattered as much as discovery. I imagine with leads it might be the same, the difference between noise and a usable signal could come down to context rank.

September 5, 2025 How 108 founders are using social media to find customers for their businesses

I kept launching projects into silence.

No users. No feedback. Just crickets.

So I built LeadSynth AI — and now founders are finding high-intent leads daily without ads, cold lists, or spam.

If you’re tired of building in the dark, this is your shortcut to finding the right people.

September 1, 2025 How LeadSynth is turning conversations into customers

For the longest time, finding customers felt like throwing darts in the dark.
I’d ship, share, maybe run some ads… but it was mostly guesswork.

Then I asked myself:
What if instead of chasing customers, I could meet them right where they’re already talking about their problems?

That’s what I built with LeadSynth.

Every day, people on Reddit, X, and niche communities are openly saying:
➡️ “I need help with…”
➡️ “Does anyone know a tool for…”
➡️ “How do I solve…”

LeadSynth listens to those conversations in real time, filters for intent, and hands them to founders + sales teams.

From there, you can jump in naturally or let AI outreach agents start the convo for you.

It feels like flipping customer acquisition from a cold start → to a warm, ongoing stream.

I’m still early in the journey, but seeing conversations turn into customers this way is addictive.

No more shouting into the void. No more guessing.

August 31, 2025 How I generated 2,905 leads in 2 weeks without ads

Finding users used to be my biggest struggle.
I’d launch → post on socials → wait… and hear nothing but silence.

So I built LeadSynth AI to fix my own problem:
Instead of cold lists or scraping, it listens to the internet in real-time and surfaces people already asking for what you sell.

The past 2 weeks, I’ve been testing our Growth Plan on LeadSynth itself. Results so far:
✅ 2,905 leads captured
✅ 58 conversations started
✅ $0 spent on ads

The craziest part? These aren’t random emails — they’re real people mid-conversation about the exact problems we solve.

Feels like the early days of finding Product-Market Fit without the “hope and pray” cycle.

Would love feedback from the IH community:
👉 If you had this stream of intent signals, how would you use it to grow faster?

August 31, 2025 I Stopped Building in Isolation (and It Changed Everything)

For a long time, my cycle looked like this:
Build → Launch → Post → Silence.

No comments, no users, no feedback. Just me refreshing analytics and wondering if anyone even saw what I built.

It wasn’t that my products were bad — it was that I was invisible.
I was talking at the internet, instead of talking with the people who actually needed my product.

The breakthrough came when I flipped the script:
Instead of shouting louder, I started listening sharper.

What I realized:

  • Every day, people are already describing the exact problems we’re trying to solve.

  • They’re doing it in Reddit threads, on X, in niche forums, even in Discord groups.

  • The gold isn’t in making more noise — it’s in finding those signals before they go cold.

That’s what pushed me to build LeadSynth AI — not as another cold lead list or scraping tool, but as a way to meet people where they already are.

Now, instead of guessing, I can:
✅ See demand in real-time
✅ Validate ideas before I ship
✅ Jump into conversations that actually matter

It feels less like “marketing” and more like connecting.

Curious — do you feel like you’re launching into silence right now?
Or have you found a way to consistently be in the right rooms, at the right time?

Stopping isolated work encourages collaboration, faster learning, better feedback, and improved creativity. It helps you grow, solve problems quicker, and build stronger results by connecting with the right people.

    1. 1

      Exactly, what are you building?

August 29, 2025 108 founders are now using LeadSynth AI to find customers in real time.

The crazy part?

These aren’t cold lists or databases.

They’re live conversations happening on Reddit, X, and niche forums, where people are literally asking for the solutions you’re building.

Highlights this week:

  • Crossed 100 founders onboard 🎉

  • First paying customers ✅

  • Real leads pulled in under 2 minutes per search

  • Building out AI outbound agents next (so leads → conversations instantly)

What I’ve learned so far:

👉 Finding your next 1,000 customers isn’t about shouting louder. It’s about listening better.

If you’re tired of launching into silence, check the demo — I built this because I was in the same spot not too long ago.

August 28, 2025 How 105 founders (and me) are finally finding customers without shouting into the void

For the longest time, I thought building was the hard part.
Turns out… it was finding users.

I’d launch, post everywhere, maybe run a few ads — and then wait.
Silence. No feedback. No traction. Just guessing.

The turning point came when I realized:
my future customers were already telling the internet about their problems every single day — on Reddit, X, niche forums. I just wasn’t listening in time.

So I built LeadSynth AI.
It listens to the internet in real-time, spots live conversations where people are describing the exact problems you solve, and brings them to you.

At first, it was just for me.
But now, 103 founders are using it to find leads, talk to users earlier, and validate faster.

And the best part? It doesn’t feel like shouting anymore. It feels like listening.

About

I built LeadSynth AI after realizing the hardest part of launching isn’t building but it’s finding users. LeadSynth helps founders and startups find high-intent and close them on autopilot.
