Meldrift
Turn scattered ideas into structured Markdown.
I rebranded my side project as Meldrift on August 23, 2026.
Shortly afterward, I found another website using the exact same name: meldrift.health. It appears to have been generated through Polsia.
What made it especially strange is that Polsia’s own X account described “Meldrift” as a self-hosted data integration platform, while the actual meldrift.health site presents it as a clinical nursing handoff service.
Those are completely different products.
I can’t prove where the name came from, so I’m not claiming it was copied. But the timing, the exact name match, and the inconsistent product descriptions made me wonder whether AI company-building platforms can sometimes pick up recently published names or other public web information during automated generation.
Has anyone seen anything similar with Polsia or other AI startup generators?
It’s a spatial workspace where you can freely arrange notes, images, tables, and Mermaid diagrams on a canvas, then compile everything into a single Markdown document.
The idea was simple: I wanted the freedom of a visual workspace without losing the structure and portability of Markdown.
Still building and experimenting with it, but it’s finally at a point where I wanted to share it with others.

One thing: loading meldrift.com, the first thing I see is "Opening browser SQLite…" and no real headline, to a new visitor it reads as broken before the product even loads.
