September 3, 2026 Mind Minute is live — building self-discovery around psychology, tests and cognitive games

I’ve been building Mind Minute, a psychology-inspired self-discovery platform designed around a simple idea: understanding how you think should be practical, interactive, and accessible.

Rather than building another personality quiz or psychology content site, I wanted to bring several types of experiences together in one place.

Mind Minute currently includes interactive self-discovery tests covering areas such as focus, motivation, communication, stress, overthinking and social energy; cognitive games that let you explore things like attention, memory and decision-making; psychology articles and resources; and a personal dashboard that brings the experience together.

The interesting challenge has been finding the right balance between useful insight and enjoyable interaction.

I don't want someone to complete a test, receive a label, and leave. The longer-term idea is to create an evolving experience where tests, games, reflections and insights gradually help someone build a clearer picture of their own patterns.

I'm also deliberately positioning Mind Minute as a self-discovery and educational product, not a diagnostic or therapy platform. That distinction has influenced everything from the language used in results to the types of experiences I'm building.

The product is already live, but there is still a lot I want to improve — particularly personalization, the quality of the insights, mobile experience, and how the different parts of the platform connect with one another.

You can try it here:

I'd especially appreciate feedback from other builders on one question:

After trying Mind Minute, what would make you want to come back a second time rather than treating it as a one-time test experience?

That's one of the main product questions I'm thinking about as I decide what to build next.
