In 6 months since our launch, we have experienced some CRAZY growth! With a mix of organic growth and us figuring out how to win with Facebook ads, we were able to scale the business more rapidly than we ever dreamed. We have already placed our 2nd and 3rd orders for more units, hired another employee (friend!), and are looking for new ways to grown the business. Couldn't be more excited for the challenges and growth to come!
We FINALLY launched MonkeyFeet this week! We mainly posted on Instagram/FaceBook/LinkedIn and have gotten some great feedback. All natural engagement so far, which has gotten us a solid start as far as sales (but nothing crazy). Looking to scale ASAP and figure out how to get our product out to the masses!

OMG I love your product and have been obsessed since before you launched. Did not realize you were on indie hackers! I remember seeing your ad on insta and I'd actually been wanting this exact product. When I heard the name MonkeyFeet I was like this is exactly how I kept describing the product I wanted, something that turns my feet into monkey feet to lift dumbbells. So happy for your success!
Oh and I'm proud to be a part of that 30k units. I got my 1st MonkeyFeet for my bday Jan 2021! And my second for the next bday!

I can certainly see the appeal as someone who often has to use the "home-gym" and has lack of access to proper machines. What's the expected life of the "clamp"? Knowing me, I'd drop one and loose a toe!
The clamps are intended to last far beyond the use count for the product. From the 150,000+ units we've sold, we haven't seen one of the clamps break yet:)
how did you grow so quickly? i remember reading a thread which said you did influencer seeding. but would love to know deets?
Of course! In short, good product market fit mixed with FB ads fueled by influencer seeding and tons of user generated content.
