Real time data and portfolio management

Visit Website
September 4, 2026 my-Portal

a web application which tries to consolidate as much data as I can from my everyday web searching.

The idea was to centralise what I look for on the web in one web page.

It is predominantly for stocks and crypto I am researching - as well as any general news. I don’t include political standard news as I am sick of hearing about it - but do include medical, science, archeological  etc.

I use professional apis, rss feeds, and AI prompts to return the relevant data. It is hosted on AWS and functions run on a regular basis to generate uptodate data.

As I have been working on the application I have added functionality such as portfolio management, a library to store interesting links I come across - so that I can retrieve them even when they are taken off-line.

As the development has continued some friends of mine have expressed interest in being able to use the product - so I have turned it into a multi user application with a login etc.

Currently it is primarily for US and UK stocks.

Hi Aryan, thankyou very much for your interest. My friends tend to be of a more technical nature and this app is really built for people without the technical knowhow - who have been struggling with maintaining excel files etc. It s a way of them being able to organise a whole lot of activities into one website, which also gives them access to data which they may currently be paying a subscription tro access. In terms of how my friends use it - they use it to glean data which they can then feed into their own AI projects eg we have five years worth of historical price data. data from reddit, instagram etc. I have only just released this, so at this stage i am still evaluating what the primary use cases are going to be and focus my development on those areas. I hope that helps, Thanks

The friends asking to use it is a better signal than adding another feature. Once they’re actually using it, I’d be curious whether they keep myPortal as their primary research starting point or just check it alongside the tools they already use.

I have written a web application which tries to consolidate as much data as I can from my everyday web searching. The idea was to centralise what I look for on the web in one web page. Works for multiple users.
