After 6 months, MybotChat has been improved with more features and integrations that should help business owner automate their customer support and grow their business without break their bank.
Getting the first customer is a great validation of the hard work.
Launch on the ProductHunt was a learning experience. I learned that it was the wrong time and I did not do it correctly. It was a quiet a lesson for the future launch.
Like many solopreneurs out there, I used a boilerplate that I build myself called ShipFast-ASP.NET (dotnet stack) to help me jump start and quickly building a working MVP.
I had a background in programming chatbot using the old way, it was difficult and expensive to build for small business. When ChatGPT is more accessible and it can be used to build a chatbot way easier than the old way, this is a great opportunity to make the chatbot building more accessible to small business owners. I also took inspiration from many competitors who already build and provide Chatbot as a service.
