November 6, 2024 10 things I did to prepare for launch

1. Validated the Idea: Talked to developers and posted on Reddit to confirm the need for smarter data collection tools.

2. Built a Landing Page: Created a clear, simple page to showcase OneQuery’s value and collect early interest.

3. Crafted a Clear Value Prop: Focused on why OneQuery stands out: AI-powered browsing that mimics human interaction.

4. Created a Demo: Developed examples to show how OneQuery works, even with a partially built product.

5. Released an Open-Source Tool: Shared a screenshot analysis repo to build credibility and engage the developer community.

6. Gathered Feedback: Shared early versions with friends, testers, and Reddit communities to refine the messaging and UX.

7. Planned Content: Drafted blog posts, tweets, and forum contributions to educate and engage our target audience.

8. Built a Waitlist: Collected signups to gauge interest and create momentum for launch day.

9. Targeted Communities: Engaged in spaces like IndieHackers, Reddit, and Twitter to find developers and startups who’d benefit most.

10. Defined Success Metrics: Set clear goals for launch, from signups to user engagement, to measure what’s working.
