We have now all those templates ready to be kickstarted on Pinacle and then keep being built upon. One thing I never liked was the initial hurdle of starting new projects, setting up the db, all the configs, env vars, etc. Or the alternative or running a demo in a sandbox platform online but then it's only for demonstration, not really ergonomic to develop further.

So I'm really excited after building it see how flawlessly I can start a new project on Pinacle now, every time, it just works, and I can just keep developing it, heck I can have designers doing it!

I think most vibe coding platforms are missing out being based just on a vite default template, there is so much more you can do with a full VM.

We do have the vite template of course to build websites, but also Next.js SaaS Starter that comes with Stripe integration and everything else you need to build a SaaS, the AI Chatbot template, for building your own ChatGPT wrapper easily, Python Agno Agent for building, well, agents, basically all directions you can go as an indiehacker starting a new project.

I've built this after seeing so many enthusiastic designers and builders out there hitting a wall and giving up after a certain point when building with AI

I also built this out of my own frustration of building initial prototypes in Lovable collaborating with designers, but then having to move to local Cursor to actually continue working on the project and losing the collaboration aspect completely, as I'd need to set them up with all the tooling.

Pinacle does not attempt to be better than any other vibe-coding platforms or coding assistant, instead, I've simply transferred my workflow, using the industry leading tools, into a devbox online. This means Claude Code, the leading coding assistant, or Cursor/Codex CLI if you are more comfortable with that. VS Code, because sometimes you just need to see the code for yourself, and a terminal, to get full control.

As coding assistants get smarter and smarter, they can actually run tasks for many hours, IF the environment is setup properly for them. And this is exactly what Pinacle allows you to do. For as little as $7 you can have your own VM running 24/7 for your agent to keep working on.

This means I can now also simply throw my designer in there, to fix the UI, or my product colleague, to prototype new features directly. With coding assistants dev tools are now easier to use than ever, so they don't have a hard time at all, while actually using a professional setup.

And if you are an indiehacker, this also means clear separation and always-running dev environments and dev servers for each of your projects. In this world of building faster than ever, where ideas abound and context-switching is higher than ever, Pinacle always help you jump back in that side project ready to continue coding.

None of the other vibe coding platforms allow me to actually see the terminal running the server behind the scenes, and moreover, having a separate process for frontend and backend, having the backend in python and so on

It's a simple thing, but so powerful to have, I built Pinacle from the ground up to be like this, but still makes me happy every time I really need it and it works perfectly, I can go and vibe code most of the time, but there are times you actually need to jump and see what's going on under the hood, stop the server, fiddle with some commands, restart it, and here we don't prevent you, we make it easier!
