Hey everyone,
I built Image Resizer because I kept running into the same small but annoying problem: I needed to resize or compress an image quickly, but most tools wanted me to upload the file first, wait, download the result, and hope the output was right.
Image Resizer takes a calmer approach. The web app processes images locally in the browser, shows a real preview, lets you control exact dimensions, aspect ratio, format, and file size, and then gives you the finished file.
I also started building companion tools for the places where image resizing comes up naturally: Chrome, Firefox, Obsidian, and Android.
Would love feedback, especially around batch workflows, compression quality, and what presets would save people the most time.

Processing everything locally is a clear design choice. Have you found that people actually choose the tool because of the privacy aspect, or does it mainly become a reason they stay once they've already tried it?
