I like this idea. I think AI should let people choose what they want to share and what should stay private. Family members can have shared information when needed, but personal chats should stay personal. Privacy and simple controls are very important. Good luck with Private Forge!
The interesting part is that memory alone isn't the hard problem — permission and context boundaries are.
A useful family AI probably needs to understand not only what information exists, but who should be allowed to know it and when.
