Community-powered performance marketing — pay for results,

April 20, 2026 Community-powered performance marketing for brands that can't afford to waste budget on impressions nobody sees

I got tired of watching small businesses throw money at ads that nobody clicks and influencer deals that never convert.

I'm building a portfolio of 18 iPhone apps under MRVL Technologies — solo, in the UK. Every time I launched one, the same problem hit me: distribution is brutal. You can build something genuinely useful and still get ignored because you can't compete with the ad budgets of companies 100x your size.

So I built Rippl to solve my own problem first — a platform that lets real people with real communities (not follower farms) earn money promoting apps they actually use. No impression-based billing. No vanity metrics. Pay only when someone actually installs, signs up, or clicks.

Then I realised the problem wasn't just mine. Every small brand, every bootstrapped founder, every local business owner is fighting the same battle. The influencer marketing platforms that exist are built for enterprise — £2,500/month minimums, agency-only pricing, sales calls just to see a price. The people who need it most can't afford the door price.

Rippl exists to level that playing field. Brands with £500 to spend should have access to the same creator-driven distribution as brands spending £500,000. And creators — whether they have 800 people in a Telegram group or 80,000 Instagram followers — should be able to monetise their real influence without chasing brand deals through a middleman taking 30%.

That's why it exists. Distribution shouldn't be a privilege.

I shipped 18 apps and kept losing on distribution. The influencer platforms built for this cost more than most small brands make in a month. Rippl exists because pay-for-results marketing shouldn't be a privilege reserve
