RozVibe
Private encrypted journaling app built for honest reflection
A few months ago, I started talking to people about journaling.
I expected conversations about features.
Instead, I kept hearing variations of the same concern:
"Who can read my journal?"
Some people had stopped journaling digitally altogether.
Others were using notes apps but avoided writing anything truly personal.
The problem wasn't a lack of journaling apps.
It was a lack of trust.
That realization eventually became RozVibe.
I'm building it around a simple idea:
Privacy is not merely the protection of data.
It is the freedom to be completely honest with yourself.
RozVibe is a privacy-first journaling app focused on secure self-reflection, mood tracking, and helping people build a journaling habit without feeling like their thoughts are being mined, analyzed, or sold.
I'm still early in the journey and learning every day.
One thing I've learned so far:
People rarely ask for trust directly.
They simply engage more deeply when they feel safe.
For those building products in personal spaces:
What was the biggest assumption users proved wrong?
About
I built RozVibe because I wanted a journaling app where privacy is built into the architecture, not just promised in a policy.
