After 6 weeks of development, v0.0.1 is finally ready. Siloed lets you create data repositories from excel, CSV and parquet files that you query in plain-text english which can then be shared with other members. Useful for
- Data Exploration
- Converting reports that are hard to read into a format that can be queried in english for non-technical members of your org
- Letting clients explore your data in a controlled environment
Siloed ships with RBAC out of the box, so you can grant different levels of access to data silos depending on your needs. Still very much a work in progress, so any feedback is welcome.

As we work more and more on Siloed, a reoccurring style is starting to emerge. So, we've decided to re-style and re-brand all of our apps and pages in an attempt to create a unified platform and brand. This includes our blog, where we post helpful tips and guides on business, tech and more. A lot of the learnings we make from developing our apps makes its way to our blog for other people to benefit from.

Initially we started out using Wix to host our landing page. However, it wasn't able to quite give us the feel that we were after for Siloed. So, we decided to revamp what we had and write + launch our own landing page.

One of the key features that we wanted to showcase in the Siloed demo app is the ability to directly connect a silo to a database to allow our users to query their live data sources. Being able to query your database directly with an LLM removes any technical barriers associated with data accessibility. No more writing data summary reports for your line manager. No more waiting for your engineering department to deliver said reports. Just log in and query.
Yesterday, we updated our demo application to show how easy Siloed will make it to query your underlying database. Check out the new version of the demo app and consider signing up to our mailing list, which you can do on our landing page.

Siloed started with a simple goal: take data that is difficult to interpret and make it accessible to anyone. By turning raw data files into collaborative repositories that can be queried with LLMs, we believe we can revolutionise information accessibility.
