SMTPMonster - Your development safety net
There are hundreds of garbage websites out there, surely it's not as bad as all of those. Besides, as they say, "If you're not embarrassed by it, you waited to long to ship it!".
I'll rewrite the website after eating my own dogfood on SMTPMonster.
I've got an app that I built a few years ago that sends legal documents to people listed in a database. I don't work on it everyday but when I do, I'm always worried that an email generated from addresses in the database eeks past my defenses and makes it into the wild. If one of those emails did escape, would I even know about it?
I want to be able to refresh my dev database from prod and not be concerned that there are real email addresses and documents scheduled to ship over the next couple days.
By lifting the safeguard out of my app, and putting sent emails in my face, right there in my inbox, I'll always know when something goes out.
Finished up the deployed app and the DNS entries are cleaned up. Initial website is running on the naked domain.

About
I don't want my development environment to send emails to real users. SMTPMonster is an SMTP server that sends everything back to my own inbox, regardless who's listed as the recipient.
