August 25, 2026 Just launched "My Stacks"

We're seeing organic traction on SoftRankings, so we're building what founders actually want: community.

Just launched "My Stacks"—share what you're using at your stage, see what other founders picked, find the patterns.

Next: founder profiles + direct messaging so you can actually connect with builders using the same tools.

Drop your stacks to your SoftRankings profile page.

August 21, 2026 Most directories forget you exist after you list. We'retrying something different.

When you launch on Product Hunt, there's a 24-hour window where people care.

Then it closes. The votes stop. The comments stop. And you go back to being a row in a database somewhere.

August 17, 2026 I built a SaaS directory that ranks tools by your company stage, not by who paid for placement

Most tool directories treat a solo founder the same as a Series A team. That means pre-seed founders end up with enterprise CRMs, and seed-stage teams cling to tools they've outgrown.

I built SoftRankings to fix that. Every tool is scored by SSIE. Our Stage-aware Intelligence Engine across 6 dimensions: Complexity, Integrations, Pricing,.... The result: stage-fit scores for 1,000+ tools across 8 company stages.

Free to list. No paid placements. Live at softrankings.com.

The stage-based approach is a clear departure from the usual directory model. Curious which company stage has been most active on SoftRankings so far.

About

Most founder tool advice ignores stage. A pre-seed founder and a Series A team need completely different software but every directory treats them the same. I built SoftRankings to fix that.
