For the last 6 months I thought I was doing well.

Stripe says $4.2k this month. Nice.

Then I pay $600 for tools, $400 contractors, $800 taxes I forgot about, $150 Stripe fees...

Real profit? $2.2k. Half of what I thought.

I tried Bonsai, Quickbooks, spreadsheets. All of them are built for agencies or accountants. I just wanted one simple answer: "How much did I REALLY make this month?"

So I started building a stupidly simple tracker for myself:

•  Connect Stripe

•  Add expenses in 2 clicks

•  One number: Real Profit

No invoices, no accounting, no "profit & loss statements".

I called it SoloPro. Launched it here last week to $0 MRR (as you can see on my profile lol).

Question for other solo/freelancers: how do you actually track if you're profitable? Are you using a spreadsheet, just checking bank balance, or some tool that finally worked for you?

I feel like I'm overcomplicating it and there's a simpler way I'm missing.

I built it because I kept running into a simple problem: revenue isn’t the same as profit.

As a freelancer/solo founder, it’s easy to look at your bank account and think you’re doing well — until you account for expenses, payment fees, and taxes.

So I built SoloPro to answer one question quickly:

“How much money did I actually make?”

The idea is simple: enter your income and expenses, and SoloPro gives you a clearer picture of your real profit without having to maintain complicated spreadsheets.

I’m building this solo and bootstrapped, and this is my first product launch.

I’d genuinely love some feedback:

• What would make you switch from spreadsheets?

• What features are missing?

• Would you actually use something like this for your business?
