June 10, 2025 Day 8: Beta Launch...Not all Crickets....

Underwhelming #'s but hey ok...it's not 0. My simple no-fluff launch page builder for indie hackers works. It proved to me that I can take an idea, create a page with built-in waitlist, email capture and analytics...then launch it quickly.

While these are not great numbers by a long shot....I got some visitors, captured the data and reported on it. My concept works. I will take that as a small win. Now, getting a beta waitlist sign up will be even better.

Onward!

✅ No integrations
✅ Free during beta

June 7, 2025 Day 6: Waitlist form added!

Visitors can now submit emails directly on the launch page...no external forms or integrations.

Goal: Make idea validation fast + frictionless for indie hackers.

Beta invites soon!

June 6, 2025 Day 5: Built the metrics dashboard 📊

My StarterStack build journey continues: simple, no-fluff launch pages for validating SaaS ideas.

I find GA too heavy and confusing for my needs. At this stage of validation I want simple metrics so I built this in natively.

Now, each launch page tracks visits, CTA clicks & conversion rate — no GA or setup needed. Super simple! I am happy with it.

Next up: waitlist form.

June 5, 2025 Day 4: AIDA template is live

Just added a built-in AIDA framework to StarterStack 🚀

Now every launch page starts with:
→ Attention
→ Interest
→ Desire
→ Action

No need to figure out structure from scratch — just fill in the blanks and tweak as needed.

The goal: help indie hackers go from idea → launch → feedback, faster.

Next: working on the metrics dashboard (visits, clicks, conversion rate — no integrations needed).

    Oh man, love the idea!
I’ve been thinking about a minimalist landing page builder myself – kinda tired of heavy tools like Webflow or Framer. Sometimes you just want to click stuff, tweak colors, and get results fast.

Tried opening the link, but it loads a blank page for me – would love to give it a spin!

Stan thanks for the feedback. Yes the link is blank at the moment. I am pushing hard to get the first iteration up. Should be early next week. I am actually using it to launch itself. I will connect with you next week if you like. Looking for 10 early beta users (free of course) if you're up for it. Would love your feedback to help shape this.

        Good luck with the launch!
And yes, I’d be happy to test it and share feedback. Just let me know when it’s ready.

Fantastic. Thanks. I pushed through the weekend and opened up the beta today. The link is no longer blank :)

June 4, 2025 Day 3 - Built the content editor + section toggles

Now you can turn sections (like Hero, Features, FAQ) on/off and update your launch page content in real time.

Simple and fast ...no distractions, just what you need to validate.

Next up: smart templates using the AIDA framework so you're never starting with a blank page.

June 3, 2025 Day 1 – Login & OAuth set up for StarterStack

Quick Day 1 update on StarterStack, my simple, no-fluff launch page builder for indie hackers validating SaaS ideas.

Today I wired up the login system:
✅ Email/password
✅ Google
✅ GitHub

I wanted login to be dead-simple...no friction when someone just wants to test an idea fast.
Next up: building out the content section editor.

I used nuxt-auth-utils which is pretty straight forward, flexible and handles many OAuth providers. Let me know how you're handling auth in your own projects or if you've hit similar friction with bloated tools.

June 2, 2025 Building a no-fluff launch page builder (because I was tired of overkill tools)

Hey IndieHackers 👋

I got tired of how bloated and overcomplicated landing page tools have gotten. Especially when all I wanted was a quick way to validate an idea.

Everything felt too heavy.
Too many features I didn’t need.
Forms that needed to be duct-taped to Google Sheets.
Using Google Analytics was overcomplicated.
And somehow I was still paying $29/mo… with nothing live.

So I started building something for myself.

A simple launch page builder made for indie hackers:
→ Email capture for waitlists
→ Built-in analytics (visits, clicks, conversion rate)
→ Free unless your page is actually live

No integrations, no nonsense....just ship a page and test the idea.

I’ll be using it to launch itself and sharing the progress as I go.
Hoping to get a few early beta users on board soon.

I will be posting my journey here. Follow along...

Drop any questions, feedback, or similar pain points. I’d love to hear what’s worked (or hasn’t) for you.
