Thanks for putting light on this topic. I created CADO sometime back, using lovable, thinking on the same lines. However, our TikTok gen doesn't have time to attempt a quiz of more than 1-2 questions, that too inorganic. Just my view. thanks!

I agree with this a lot. Quizzes are underrated because they expose the gap between “this makes sense while I’m reading it” and “I can actually retrieve it without help.”

Flashcards are useful, but they become much stronger when paired with generated quizzes, rephrased questions, and repeated recall.

The rephrasing part is important too. Sometimes you start recognizing the wording of a question/card instead of understanding the concept. Changing the wording forces you to check whether the idea is actually there.

So yeah, passive learning feels good, but quizzes are where the truth shows up.

Might be good to have a simple landing flow with a small quiz before making users sign up, because they have not seen any value and already have to create an account.
