Hey everyone,
I’ve been working on something called theOwnerSay and wanted to share it here.
The idea started from a problem I kept running into whenever I wanted to buy something expensive.
I would open Google, read reviews, check Reddit, search forums, watch YouTube videos... and somehow end up with more questions than answers.
Most reviews are useful, but they usually answer "is this good right now?"
What I really wanted to know was:
"After owning this for a year or two, are people still happy with it?"
What starts failing?
What annoys owners after the honeymoon period?
Would they buy it again?
That information exists, but it's buried inside hundreds of Reddit threads and community discussions.
So I started building theOwnerSay, a way to collect those real owner experiences and turn them into simple product verdicts.
Right now, the first version focuses on coffee & espresso niche products. It’s a category where this problem is especially obvious: people spend a lot of money, spend weeks researching, and still don't know what ownership will actually be like.
The goal isn't to create another "top 10 products" website.
It’s to answer a simpler question:
"What do people who actually own this product say?"
I'm still early, so I’d love some honest feedback:
What products have you spent way too much time researching before buying?
Have you ever found a hidden issue only after digging through forums?
Would you use something like this before making a big purchase?

I like that you're distinguishing between purchase-time reviews and long-term ownership experience instead of treating them as the same kind of information.
I'll be interested to see which questions people consistently ask before making a purchase. Those patterns will probably reveal whether the product is really about finding better products, reducing purchase regret, or building confidence in expensive decisions.
